Kit’s practice spans the full spectrum of commercial work.
Since joining Chambers in 2022, he has been instructed in several of the largest cases at the commercial bar, acted in several arbitrations, and has appeared as sole counsel in the High Court and County Courts.
Before coming to the Bar, Kit studied history at Cambridge University where he took a Starred First and placed second in his year in his undergraduate degree, winning various prizes.
The Glencore Plc Litigation
Acting (with Bankim Thanki KC, Adam Kramer KC and Nic Damjanovic) for Aabar Holdings in the claim brought against Glencore Plc under ss.90 and 90A FSMA for alleged misstatements in and omissions from Glencore’s prospectuses and published information. An appeal from an interlocutory judgment relating to the existence of the so-called Shareholder Principle in the law of privilege was one of The Lawyer’s ‘Top 10 Appeals’ of 2025.

Acting with Tim Howe KC and Christopher Knowles for a reinsurer, Fidelis, in the multi-billion-pound insurance litigation, defending claims under reinsurance policies reinsuring Russian operator insurance policies.
FW Aviation (Holdings) 1 Ltd v VietJet Aviation Joint Stock Company
Acting (with Alex Milner KC and Giles Robertson) for a Vietnamese airline in a complex aviation finance dispute concerning four Airbus A-321 aircraft leased under a “JOLCO” structure.
Columbia Pictures v Wanda Kids Culture Development [2024] EWHC 2921 (Comm); [2025] EWHC 1895 (Comm)
Acting (with Tamara Oppenheimer KC) for Columbia Pictures in a USD 49 million claim arising from the defendant’s failure to complete a put and call option agreement for shares in a production company; resisted a jurisdictional challenge to service under Hong Kong law ([2024] EWHC 2921 (Comm)) and successfully obtained summary judgment for the full claim ([2025] EWHC 1895 (Comm)).
