George Hack re-joined Fountain Court as Team Leader in 2022, having originally begun his clerking career in 2011. Since returning to Chambers, he has played a key role in supporting the continued growth and development of members’ practices.
As Team Leader, George is responsible for the management, strategic direction, and practice development of a team of junior barristers, supported by Jamie Thomas. He is actively involved in identifying opportunities to enhance members’ practices, building, and maintaining strong relationships with solicitors, clients, and members.
George’s day-to-day responsibilities include diary management, the coordination of complex listing arrangements, fee negotiation, and the allocation of new instructions.
George is committed to supporting the wider objectives of Chambers. He sits on the Equality and Diversity Committee, contributing to initiatives aimed at promoting inclusion and ensuring that Chambers continues to foster a diverse and supportive working environment. He is also a member of the Institute of Barristers’ Clerks.
