Charles Redmond has a broad commercial litigation and arbitration practice, with particular specialisms in commercial crime, civil fraud, sanctions, insurance, and banking disputes.
Charles read law at Magdalen College, Oxford, where he graduated ranked second in his year. He then completed the BCL at Oxford with the Fountain Court Chambers Scholarship and the BVS as a scholar of Gray’s Inn.

Acting (led by Clare Sibson KC) for a Lloyd’s broker charged with failing to prevent bribery under section 7 of the Bribery Act 2010. A six-week trial is listed for June 2027. A three-day dismissal hearing was heard in October 2025. If the case proceeds to a trial, it will be the first time that an SFO prosecution under section 7 is heard by a jury.
