Katherine Hardcastle represented Ultra Electronics Holdings Ltd (a manufacturer of electronic systems for the international defence and aerospace market) against the Serious Fraud Office in proceedings for a Deferred Prosecution Agreement. The DPA relates to alleged historical failure to prevent bribery arising from the company’s operations in Oman and Algeria in 2010/2011 and 2016/2017. The agreement provides for a financial penalty of £10,083,150. The agreement brings to an end the SFO investigation.
