On Saturday 21 March 2026, the Professional Negligence Bar Association held a conference entitled ‘AI, tech and crypto: new frontiers in liability litigation’. Nico Leslie was the conference director and talks were given by a range of speakers, including Nico, Daniel Carall-Green and Gillian Hughes. The course addressed the impact of new technologies such as artificial intelligence and digital assets on professional liability, particularly in light of the UK Jurisdiction Taskforce Consultation Paper on liability for AI harms that was published in January 2026 (and to which Jacob Turner was a leading contributor), as well as recent developments in tech-related class actions. Fountain Court members continue to be at the forefront of the law as it responds to the challenges of the ongoing technological revolution.
