Fountain Court is delighted to congratulate Marianne Butler, who has been awarded an MBE for her services to fundraising and cancer research.

Having been diagnosed with breast cancer aged 34, Marianne co-founded ‘Le Cure’ in 2014 to raise money for cancer research at the Royal Marsden Hospital. Each August, the charity’s flagship event sees participants cycle some of the Tour de France’s toughest climbs in the French Alps over four days.

To date, Le Cure has raised over £3.3 million for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and funded six Le Cure research fellowships.
